Having an Outsunny portable picnic table is going to make your life a lot easier when camping. They fold up and are easy to carry around. Offer a comfortable place for you and your family to sit, and do a good job of bringing a little piece of home with you outdoors.
So needing one, and buying one is a no-brainier. Choosing the right one for you is where you need to put the time. Ideally you want a picnic table that assembles easily, folds down just as easy, offers good value for money, and it strong enough to suit your needs.
Which is why I’m reviewing the Outsunny Portable Folding Camp Picnic Table. As I dig into the specifics a bit deeper, you will see it ticks all of those boxes.
When camping you can’t guarantee having a good place to sit while you eat or relax. Bringing your own tables and chairs with is an answer to this. It’s never been easier than some of these well designed picnic tables, let’s take a closer look at the specifics.
Setup and design features
Foldable picnic tables have evolved to a point of ease and simplicity. There isn’t much more to setting up the table than opening it when it’s in suitcase form, pulling out the seats and legs, they swing round and lock into place, the legs then pull down and you’re all set.
Always make sure everything is locked in place and stable before using the table or chairs. The last thing you want is some hot water falling off or someone collapsing the table.

While this Outsunny Picnic Table is one of the stronger tables on the market, and 265 lbs per person is very generous. In reality you shouldn’t be putting that much weight on it. You should always err on the side of caution, having the table collapse could result in injury.
I have noticed that the corners of the table can bend if heavy pressure is applied. Not a huge deal, but something you should be aware of. So, use the table for what it’s intended and you should be fine.
Outsunny Portable Picnic Table Summary
If you have never used a foldable picnic table you’re in for a pleasant surprise. They make an otherwise makeshift campsite a lot more organized. Combine this with a collapsible camp kitchen like this Coleman Camp Kitchen and suddenly you have a functioning kitchen and dining table while outdoors.
If you have been trying to encourage someone out on a camping trip with you and they had excuses about not being comfortable or having somewhere to sit and eat – they no longer have those excuses.
You can use the table in the garden too for extra seating during BBQ’s, or as summer furniture if you don’t want chairs out all year round. Selling at a very affordable price too means it’s an easy decision.
